i guess the reason i drag my feet so much is because i realized long ago that nobody cares about what i do
which is why i can get away with so much
the only reason i did good last year
was because i was doing it to stick with my friends
and become part of something
and now that im part of it
the motivation is gone
and the will for me to succeed has ceased to exist
i've driven myself into a hole...

Casey bro, you have motivation within you. You know what it is you want, what it is you're pursuing. You have a vision. Even when a loved one assures and reassures you that they believe in you, you succeed by your own will and your will alone. Laud yourself for effort, not tangible achievements. We all reap what we sow, but the harvest we gather come in forms we don't expect. I'm almost absolutely certain that the fruit of all you've ever given into this soil of life is growing more and more abundant beneath your very eyes.
